Second, since our parent company is based in the United States we follow all international best standards practices for data protection and secure payment services. In fact, all payments are processed in the US by the merchant services company PayPal. Third, we offer a guarantee to all of our customers. In the rare circumstance, in which you have an issue with your order such as a defective or wrong product, we will immediately fix it or refund your money. Delivery Information

Delivery times vary based on the products you order and the location that they will be delivered. There are also various delivery speeds available at check out, please confirm the exact delivery time at check out. Also, note that digital deliveries are 24 hours 7 days a week, however, physical deliveries are only delivered Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm) and Saturdays (9am to 3pm) and are subject to time of order and public holidays.

  • Electricity Credit (Cashpower): Cashpower tokens(pins) are delivered instantly by SMS. Your recipient should receive their token within 5 minutes of your order.
  • Phone Credit: Credit is instantly sent to your recipients phone number and they should receive a SMS confirmation within 5 minutes of order.

Delivery times by location:

  • Express Zone: Most orders (groceries, electronics, etc.) are delivered within 24-48 hours, if ordered before 1pm GMT. Construction orders may take up to 72 hours.
  • Greater Banjul Zone: Most orders (groceries, electronics, etc.) are delivered within 24-48 hours, if ordered before 1pm GMT. Construction orders may take up to 72 hours.
  • Brikama Zone: Most orders (groceries, electronics, etc.) are delivered within 24-48 hours, if ordered before 1pm GMT. Construction orders may take up to 72 hours.
  • Costal Zone: Most orders (groceries, electronics, etc.) are delivered within 24-48 hours, if ordered before 1pm GMT. Construction orders may take up to 72 hours.

Please note: Roads in The Gambia are often unpaved and sometimes in poor condition. Despite this, we do our best to deliver to as many places as possible within the delivery zones listed above. Unfortunately, there are certain areas where our delivery vehicles cannot reach without damaging our vehicles. Additionally, certain areas may be affect by weather conditions, such as heavy flooding during rainy season. In situations where our delivery vehicles cannot reach the final destination, we will attempt to reach as close as possible and inform the recipient.

Digital items (electricity credit and phone credit) can be delivered to anyone in The Gambia no matter where they live instantly digitally. Yes! Orders can be picked up at our office in Bijilo during office hours. The address is: Terangas, Bertil Harding Hwy, Bijilo, Greater Banjul, The Gambia.

Payments

We accept PayPal and most international debit and credit cards including: Visa, Mastercard, and others. We also accept Cash in Gambian Dalasi upon delivery (coming soon).

Protecting our customer’s payment details and personal information is very important to us. All of our payment processing is encrypted and completed using industry best standards and processed through trusted payment processors based in the United States ( PayPal and Stripe). Additionally, all transactions are SSL secured. Terangas.com has also been screened for phishing and malware by Google and our safe browsing status is available here.

Orders can be cancelled anytime before being dispatched for delivery. Once orders are dispatched for delivery they cannot be changed, or canceled. Digital orders cannot be changed, or canceled upon placing the order since credit is instantly delivered upon completion of the order and cannot be reversed. Thus, please double check your recipient details before placing all digital orders to ensure the information is accurate.

We do our best to complete orders as successfully as possible. However, on rare occasions issues can happen and it is our upmost priority to take care of our customers. If your recipient receives the wrong product or a defective product, please inform us immediately and we will ensure that it is replaced. If you order a product it becomes unavailable we will inform you can we will either offer to replace it with a similar product or issue a refund for the value of the product that is unavailable.

ID VERIFICATION

We require ID verification to ensure that the person ordering is the owner of the payment method that they are using. This is important because criminals try to use stolen cards that they are not authorized to use and it results in fraud chargebacks and losing money for us. With most shopping websites the buyer and recipient are usually the same, but for us since the buyer is often abroad and recipient is in Gambia when this happens it is very difficult for us to resolve. It is for the same reason most money transfer services also require ID verification.

No, we do not require ID verification for PayPal orders.

FRAUD, SCAMS, AFFLIATIONS

Our main purpose is to deliver food and other goods to individuals in The Gambia. Many organizations and individuals use our services to deliver goods to relatives, friends, and do charity, however Terangas is not affiliated with any organization or individual.

If an individual contacts you for assistance or to use our services, please note that we do not have any affiliate with any individual. Please evaluate your relationship to the individual before sending any items. Although there are many people in need in The Gambia, we cannot verify the level of need of any person in The Gambia and whether or not the person you are in contact with is authentic.
